Ranged Weaponry
Light Blaster - A blaster pistol was a small, hand-held version of a blaster rifle, and was commonly referred to simply as a "blaster." Pistols were commonly smaller than rifles, with enough power to kill a humanoid and punch through body armor, though they did not have the energy to pierce the hull of a starship. Ownership and use was regulated in many systems, generally in the form of restrictions and regulations. There were many different varieties of blaster pistols. There were also larger, more powerful versions known as heavy blaster pistols, and smaller, precision pistols known as sporting blasters or hold-out blasters.
Heavy Blaster - A heavy blaster pistol is a more powerful version of the standard blaster pistol, utilizing a more highly powered gas chamber, firing larger, more damaging bolts with a wider beam. It had power comparable to a blaster rifle but a shorter range than the typical blaster pistol. The power pack was generally the same size as a standard pistol and was consumed at a considerably higher rate than a typical blaster pistol. Due to the weapon's formidable power it was in most systems heavily restricted if not entirely illegal, but was nevertheless very popular with soldiers and mercenaries of all sorts.
Repeating Blaster - Repeating blasters, or Repeaters, were blaster or projectile weapons that could fire many rounds in a short time intervals. Some repeaters were light enough to be carried by individuals and fired quickly without a mount, such as a tripod, but were heavy enough to be unwieldy for those not trained in their use. The largest of these were even called "heavy repeating blasters", but this was only in comparison with more lightweight models; all personal weapons were a step down from the heavier emplacement guns.
Slugthrower - Slugthrowers were weapons that used an explosive chemical to launch a solid projectile at a high velocity. Blasters were fashioned in style and function after these more primitive weapons. Slugthrowers were considered by many to be a primitive, inferior technology when compared to blasters, and were often used by those without access to better weapons, such as primitive cultures. Slugthrowers were often looked down upon due to their use of projectile ammunition which are ballistic resulting in the shooter needing to plot the trajectory of his or her shot and requires a reasonable amount of practice. While a blaster bolt would dissipate after it has reached passed it's maximum effective range, it would not drop thus was considered superior in terms of accuracy, a slug however would drop to the ground once it has far surpassed it's maximum effective range.
Disruptor Rifle - A disruptor rifle was a vicious and devastating weapon that disintegrated its target. It tore apart its victim at the molecular level, destroying their body tissues and bypassing most sorts of personal energy shields. A disruptor weapon shot a constant beam of energy that would travel in a straight direction until it hit solid matter, so this made disruptors very popular as sniping weapons, and most types of disruptor were manufactured with built in scopes. The use of disruptor weapons was illegal in the Republic, and therefore was usually associated with shadier organizations, such as crime syndicates and Mandalorians, and the weapons became prime smuggling objects, as they were highly valued in taboo areas.
Melee Weaponry
Vibrodagger - A vibrodagger, or vibro-dagger, was a type of vibroblade that was larger than a vibroknife, yet smaller than a vibrosword. All vibro weapons can be interwoven with cortosis which will make them lightsaber resilient.
Vibrosword - The vibrosword was a longer, heavier version of the vibroblade. It was generally wielded with two hands, although some beings were strong enough to wield them with one and carry two of them. Like all vibro-weapons, vibroswords were dangerous to use against electrical weapons, as they conducted electricity, though electrocution was not the primary concern; electricity traveling up the length of the blade could connect with the weapon's energy cell and sonic generator. The result would be a miniature explosion with enough force to take off the user's hand. All vibro weapons can be interwoven with cortosis which will make them lightsaber resilient.
Vibroknucklers - A vibroknuckler was a weapon that a person would wear on their fists, giving extra power to the wielder's punches. The weapon had four miniature vibro-blades on the front, which provided the extra piercing and slashing power. The casing of the weapon provided some concealment of the blades as it was not uncommon for the very tips of the blades to peek out from between the backs of the knuckles. The wielder could activate the weapon with the squeeze of a fist. Though restricted in most systems, they could be commonly found across the galaxy. Many mercenaries and pirates used this weapon as a last resort in a hard battle, especially since an attempt to disarm them would likely prove fatal. Vibroknucklers required an energy cell to operate properly, though could still be used unpowered with slightly diminished force. They presumably were similar to buzz-knucks.
Electrostaff - The electrostaff was an electronic melee weapon constructed of lightsaber-resistant phrik alloy equipped with electromagnetic pulse-generating tips. Though some staffs could penetrate and neutralize ray shields, most were simply used as blunt-force melee weapons. They were designed to be longer than most lightsaber blades, enabling the user to fight Jedi while remaining out of the Jedi's range. As with force pikes, the emitters on the ends had different power settings, going from a stunning jolt to a deadly charge. Thus the electrostaff could be used to only incapacitate an opponent instead of killing him outright, or even as a torture device.
Lightsaber - Designed as much for elegance in combat as for ceremony, the lightsaber, also referred to as the "laser sword" by those who were unfamiliar with it, was a distinctive weapon, the very image of which was inextricably bound with the mythos of the Jedi Order and their polar opposites, the Sith. The lightsaber also became synonymous with the Jedi Order's values to uphold peace and justice throughout the galaxy. This perception endured, despite the many conflicts with lightsaber-wielding Sith and Dark Jedi. The weapon consisted of a blade of pure plasma energy emitted from the hilt and suspended in a force containment field. The field contained the immense heat of the plasma, protecting the wielder, and allowed the blade to keep its shape. The hilt was almost always self-fabricated by the wielder to match his or her specific needs, preferences and style. Due to the weightlessness of plasma and the strong gyroscopic effect generated by it, lightsabers required a great deal of strength and dexterity to wield, and was extremely difficult—and dangerous—for the untrained to attempt using. However, in the hands of an expert of the Force, the lightsaber was a weapon to be greatly respected and feared. To wield a lightsaber was to demonstrate incredible skill and confidence, as well as masterful dexterity and attunement to the Force. Lightsabers come in either a single blade, or a double bladed version called the lightstaff.
Miscellaneous Weaponry
Proximity Mines - Proximity mines were high-powered explosive packs with wide explosive radius that used sensors capable of detecting shifts in air pressure to detonate the mine when anyone entered its blast zone. They could also be detonated with a timer or when a ship passed within the radius of an energy field around the mine. The only way to disarm a ground proximity mine was to crawl up to it and deactivate it.
Flamethrower - A flamethrower or flame projector was a weapon which fired a burning stream of liquid or gas. They were useful in close-quarters combat and attacks against caves and bunkers. They were also effective in boarding operations. Flamethrowers can be attached to a Wrist Mounted Utility Launcher, or used as a more powerful, single rifle.
Missile Launcher - Portable, handheld missile launchers were common heavy assault weapons used by artillery divisions of many military forces. They were necessary in various types of combat to destroy enemy vehicles, command stations, and eradicate large numbers of infantrymen. Missile launchers can be either shoulder mounted, or attached to a Wrist Mounted Utility Launcher, but they would be significantly weaker.
Thermal Detonators - A thermal detonator was a highly unstable grenade-like weapon popular among military personnel, criminals, bounty hunters, and mercenaries. The thermal detonator was utilized since at least as early as 4,000 BBY. The thermal detonator was designed to be thrown by a soldier, planted in a specific location or on a specific vessel, or dropped by a vehicle. It would then adhere to any metallic object until it detonated. The reasons for using a thermal detonator varied widely, and despite the legal restrictions of many governments, the thermal detonator saw widespread use across the galaxy.

Armor
Basic Armor
Bantha Hide Vest - A bantha hide vest is a vest or jacket made entirely of bantha hide. Bantha hide was a substance made from banthas and used to make clothing and furniture. They are relatively tough and can be made into various other pieces of clothing. They serve to deter small amounts of melee attacks, but a blaster will pass right through. [ Light Armor ]
Robes - Robes are the common attire of both the Jedi and the Sith. They are often accompanied by boots as well as a similar hued tunic and leggings beneath that. The Jedi traditionally wear brown robes and biege colored under clothes. The Sith often wear black and gray with black or gray under clothes. They give no protection from melee or blaster attacks but give the highest level of humility and movement possible. [ Light Armor ]
Armored Robes - These are traditional attire for the Jedi and Sith with a single addendum. A light set of plates under the robes, but over the under clothes. These can help deflect vibroblades and blaster bolts from afar, but it comes at a major stipulation. A Jedi or Sith in armored robes will not be as fast as a Jedi or Sith without the additional pounds of armor. [ Medium Armor ]
Mabari Armorweave - Mabari armorweave was a type of battle armor worn by the Mabari. It was similar in appearance to Jal Shey Neophyte Armor. It consisted of hide and had a metal breastplate as well as a metal kama-style skirt. The skirt gave moderate resistance to melee attacks, but the chance of a blaster passing through are about ninety-five percent. [ Light Armor ]
Light Scout Armor - Standardized, mass produced armor that includes shoulder pads, shin pads, knee pads, and a chest piece. Most Bounty Hunters just starting out usually don this armor to ensure both protection from standard blaster fire, as well as any vibroblade attacks that impact the armor. Heavy blaster fire from up close has a fifty-fifty chance of penetrating however. A helmet of personalized design is also available. [ Light Armor ]
Composite Battle Armor - The first armor available in mass production that offers zero-gravity protection, as well as moderate defense against incoming fire. The suit is entirely enclosed, except around the wrists, ankles, and neck. The helmet can become air tight against the bodyglove that is offered with the Composite Armor. It comes in five pieces ; both legs, chest, back, and head. This armor restricts movement of the head, as well as running speed. [ Medium Armor ]
Krayt Assault Armor - Designed with the fierceness of the Krayt Dragon in mind, this armor allows for both movement and moderate protection. It is often a gray or black armor with a visor face mask, most times draped with a short cloak. The armor's main weakness is that it is brittle to vibroweapons, and two or three attacks will break the targeted piece of armor. [ Light Armor ]
Nemesis Battle Suit - The DZ 17X Nemesis Battle Suit was an extremely rare powersuit battle armor model manufactured by Mili-Corp. The armor provided full body protection against kinetic and energy attacks and came with an inbuilt multi-frequency targeting and acquisition system and a 180 degree macrobinocular vision providing sensor system. An empty gun slot was installed in the left forearm armor and a light repeating blaster on the right one. A climate-controlled body glove was also standard equipment. This suit of armor makes running and jumping impossible while donned. [ Heavy Armor ]
Acklay Hide Armor - The hide of the Acklay, extremely resilient to melee attacks and blaster bolts was often turned into a suitable suit of armor for trackers, hunters, and mercenaries. The green, tough armor covered the chest, back, shoulders, and legs. While it often looked somewhat strange, it was effective in its purpose. [ Medium Armor ]
Ubese Tracker Armor - Armor used by the Ubese trackers from the planet Uba, it is light armor suited more for exploring than fighting. It comes with an Oygian cloak and Bantha-hide pants and boots for climate protection, as well impact chest and neck pieces. The helmet, seemingly unwieldy comes with minimal life support features. [ Light Armorr ]
Mandalorian Scout Armor - The new, retro armor of the scattered Mandalorian culture. This armor is rounded, light, and flexible. It is made of Mandalorian Iron, called beskar in Mando'a, which is an incredibly resilient and light structure. The armor has been used in tandem with jet packs at the behest of many Mandalorian mercenaries and bounty hunters. It comes with boots, shin guards, knee pads, thigh guards, a single chest piece and a T-slit Mandalorian helmet. [ Light Armor ]
JX-4 Gladiator Battle Armor - Armor put together from several different sets, it is both an antique and a new renovation. It was developed for gladiatorial battles but became so popular that several of the suits were leaked to the public, and now can be purchased on the black market. The suit includes shoulder plates, shin plates, a chest piece, knee plates, boots, and a Mandalorian inspired helmet. The armor allows for more maneuverability than it does protection though. [ Light Armor ]
Sith Assault Armor - The armor of the defeated Brotherhood of Darkness under Lord Kaan, it is a medium armor that allows for increased protection from blaster fire but only minimal protection from melee attacks. The armor is a shiny silver with an underlying body glove. It comes with a helmet, shoulder pads, a full chest piece, full leggings, and black synthetic boots. [ Medium Armor ]

Equipment
Nanogar NJP-433 Personal Jet Pack - The jetpack was an aerial personal transportation device in limited use across the galaxy. A jetpack offered a great degree of mobility in the air, though often at the personal risk of the user. Jetpacks were usually worn on the back, and controlled by a wrist-mounted device or through verbal commands issued into a visor or helmet. To launch, a jetpack funneled both air and fuel through miniaturized turbines.
Splicer's Datapad - A datapad was a small, usually low-cost, electronic device used for storing information. Taking the place of the more primitive book, a datapad could store textual, graphic, and holographic data. They were commonly used as notebooks, day planners, calculators, and sketchpads. Some models could interface with and download information from larger computer networks. Most datapads came standard equipped with a touch-sensitive color screen, audio pickups, headphone ports, and power cells.
Hush-98 Handheld Comlink - Comlinks came in numerous varieties, though most had the same central systems: a receiver, a transmitter, and a power source. Comlinks were typically small, palm-sized devices for easy transportation and concealment. They often weighed as little as 0.1 kgs. More advanced models featured encryption routines, frequency search controls, sound reproduction matrices, silence projectors, and built-in ports for data transmission.
Model 1000 Macrobinoculars - Macrobinoculars were small devices with two cushioned eyecups and a top-mounted rangefinder. The standard pair of macrobinoculars included an internal readout that provided information on distance and elevation, while many could be programmed to record and playback. Macrobinoculars were commonly thought of as inferior to electrobinoculars, as they lacked image-enhancement chips and some did not come with light-adjustment circuitry. However, they were cheaper than electrobinoculars, and more readily available in more remote areas such as the Outer Rim Territories.
GenoHaradan Personal Stealth Unit - Stealth field generators were special types of belts that saw use primarily around the time of the Jedi Civil War and the years following it. Essentially a portable, personal cloaking device, stealth field generators made their users all but invisible at medium and long ranges; however, a clumsy user could be easily detected in close quarters. Also, unless a master of stealth, the user could not maintain the stealth field while running.
Advanced Stealth Bodyglove - The GenoHaradan stealth unit was an advanced belt which provided advanced camouflage to the user. It has a sound dampener and an advanced stealth unit, but it disallows the ability to run or fight while activated.
Wrist Gauntlet - A gauntlet was a heavy-duty glove that extended past the wrist and was used in different types of armor. A gauntlet can be used for a number of things, such as carrying small munitions or equipment. A wrist gauntlet can have up to two weapons or a weapon and a piece of equipment attached to it.
Fibercord Whip Launcher - A fibercord was a string like material that could be used to link various tools. Made from durable fibers like flexsteel, it was often used in grappling hooks and climbing devices. This whip launcher can be either handheld or attached to a wrist gauntlet.
Emergency Medpac - A medpac was a small first aid kit that contained limited-utility diagnosis equipment such as medisensors, but also provided flexclamps, synthflesh, irrigation bulbs, bacta, kolto, spray-bandages, bacta patches, spray hypos, bone stabilizers, antiseptics, coagulants, stimulants, and other essential medicines for the treatment of wounds.

Transportation
Starfighters & Speeders
Lhosan AeroChaser Speeder Bike - The AeroChaser is a single-rider speeder bike with long prongs extending from the front of the vehicle. Designed for balance, the front-end prongs also contain significant empty space, which unscrupulous mechanics use to mount weapons on. Others use the space for storage, and some have reduced the size of the prongs to allow the speeder to handle more loosely. The ability to customize the bike make it a favorite for outlaws. [ Seats one. ]
Aratech Urban Navigator Speeder Bike - The rise in popularity of speeder bikes has allowed the market to be flooded with them. The Urban Navigator is an excellent source of transportation. The Urban Navigator has a repulsorlift side car that accommodates one passenger. The side car is optional, but is effects the bikes maneuverability. [ Seats two. ]
Ubrikkian PL-90 Luxury Speeder - The PL-90 luxury speeder was a large Ubrikkian airspeeder designed for wealthy individuals and their entourages. It was one of the most popular speeders on the market among the upper class during the days of the Old Republic. he PL-90 was designed to be the ultimate in comfort, and had a price tag to match. It had four rows of seats including three bench seats, all padded, and single seats for the driver and a passenger in the front row. It also boasted state of the art inertial dampening technology proving a smooth and easy ride for its passengers. The PL-90 sacrificed speed in favor of comfort. [ Seats six. ]
SoroSuub Twin-228 Airspeeder - The Twin-228 airspeeder was a model produced by SoroSuub. On many worlds, such as Iridonia, it was modified as a speeder truck by the addition of a cargo pod. The Twin-228 has a pair of front prongs used to pick up cargo. The Twin-228 is a two-seater. The speed of the Twin-228 made it a popular speeder on more urban worlds while the optional cargo pod attachments made them a common sight on agricultural worlds as well. [ Seats two. ]
SoroSuub TT-6 Landspeeder - The SoroSuub TT-6 is the iconic personal vehicle. A two-seater landspeeder with large rear engines and an aerodynamic body, the TT-6 is mass-produced to provide an inexpenssive and appealing vehicle for personal use. The TT-6 is such an easy fix, that even characters with basic repair skills can do the necessary work. [ Seats two. ]
Davaab-Type Starfighter - The Davaab-type starfighter was a type of starfighter used by the Mandalorians from before and during the Mandalorian Wars. It's name derived from the Mando'a word for "carrying out" and "execution", the fighter was used by the Mandalorians for capital ship protection. The 8.8 meter long Davaab starfighter was wide, boasting asymmetrical wings: a longer, bent fin-shape wing and a shorter wing with a cannon. A bubble canopy allowed the pilot to see his immediate surroundings. The craft was designed to land with each wing rotated horizontally, similar to the operation of the B-wing starfighter millennia later. [ Seats one. ]
CEC S-100 Stinger-class Starfighter - The S-100 Stinger-class starfighter was a single-seat fighter produced by Corellian Engineering Corporation. Measuring 11.5 meters in length, the hyperdrive-equipped craft was used by the Jedi Order, the navy of the Galactic Republic, and civilian purchase. Armed with laser cannons and proton torpedo launchers, and minimally shielded, the S-100 was considered lightly armed, but was said to make up for its defensive shortcomings with its high speed and maneuverability superior to most other starfighters of its time. [ Seats one. ]
Star Saber XC-01 Starfighter - The Star Saber XC-01 starfighter was an experimental fighter produced by Republic Fleet Systems, and tested by Jedi pilots during the Great Sith War. Long, sleek craft, the single-seat starfighters nonetheless were equipped with hyperdrives. Although the ships were capable of swift acceleration, their low maneuverability-to-speed ratio and slow control stick reaction gained them a reputation as dangerous and unwieldy craft. Heavy blaster cannons and deflector shields gave the Star Saber more offensive and defensive capabilities than contemporary fighters. [ Seats one. ]
S-250 Chela-Class Starfigher - These starfighters were armed with twin laser cannons and missile launchers, and flew alongside the more nimble Aurek tactical strikefighters in some battles. Ships of this type were seen leading Republic starfighter squadrons into battle, and often were flown by higher-ranking pilots and squad leaders. [ Seats one. ]
Freighters
Class 720 Freighter - The Class 720 freighter, also known as the Ghtroc 720, was a light freighter manufactured by Ghtroc Industries. Though less popular than the competing YT series, the Ghtroc 720 developed a following in the Outer Rim Territories, where Ghtroc Industries was located, and thousands of the freighters remained in use even after the manufacturer went out of business. The Ghtroc 720 was 35 meters long and could carry 135 metric tons of cargo in each of its 55 cubic meter main holds. In stock configuration, a fixed double laser cannon was mounted above the slightly raised cockpit. A pair of docking tubes were located on the ship's rear, and each could contain an escape pod. This configuration gave the freighter a distinctly testudine appearance. The sublight engines were located between the docking tube. Like many light freighters, the Ghtroc 720 was often extensively modified for smuggling purposes. [ Seats four. ]
Amalgamated Hyperdyne 578-R Space Transport - The 578-R space transport was as space transport manufactured by Amalgamated Hyperdyne. he 578-R was suffered from many production problems, and ultimately resulted in Amalgamated Hyperdyne going bankrupt due to the many safety recalls issued on the craft. Many ships came off the assembly line with missing components such as a hyperdrive motivator, or in worse cases exhibiting malfunctions that wouldn't appear until the worst possible moment, such as transparisteel viewports coming loose in the midst of flight. [ Seats five. ]
Hoersch-Kessel Drive G-Type Light Freighter - Type light shuttles were small armed transports converted for civilian use or sold on the black market. There were at least two configurations for this ship[1]. In one configuration, it could ferry at least three people with no difficulty. To assist less-experienced pilots, advanced pilot programming was installed. Another configuration, labeled as an "escape ship," could carry only one person, making room for more equipment to improve survivability. As this second configuration was an escape ship, it had greater shielding, a hyperdrive and extra supplies. [ Seats nine. ]
Lethisk-Class Armed Freighter - The Lethisk-class armed freighter was a large space transport designed by Arakyd Industries. Even though intended by Arakyd Industries to be the ship for general public, the Lethisk-class freighter was too costly for any but the richest Republic citizens. Some of the ships have found their way into the hands of crime lords and smugglers, but most were acquired by its target group: the wealthy families such as Sandral family from Dantooine, who kept their ship docked atop their estate.[2] More than 30 ships were sold at significant discount to Exchange crime bosses by a group of Arakyd employees, who were later sent to the spice Mines of Kessel for that crime, including the Sector Executive of the Raioballo Sector. [ Seats eight. ]
Barloz-Class Freighter - The Barloz-class freighter was a medium stock ship popular during the time of the Galactic Republic. The Barloz-class was manned by a crew of two, with one gunner and up to four passengers. It was armed with single turret-mounted laser cannon. Propulsion was provided by the NovaQuad-D system, a precursor to the drives used on the YT series. One of the principal strengths of the Barloz-class freighter was its size: forty-one meters long, twenty meters high, and capable of storing over eighty-five metric tons of cargo. The size, coupled with the craft's durability, made it an ideal craft for cargo shippers and smugglers. Barloz freighters were woefully under-armed, however. A single laser cannon, fixed in a front-firing position, was the craft's primary defense system. In addition, the Barloz was not very maneuverable, making its only option in a fight a hasty retreat. [ Seats six. ]
GX1 Short Hauler - The GX1 Short Hauler was a starship model produced by Lantillian ShipWrights. The GX1 was a rugged and well-engineered vessel. Originally designed as a pleasure craft, it featured several amenities geared towards the comfort of its owner, such as a well-designed galley, a holotheater, and large living quarters. For defense, the basic configuration was armed with a civilian-graded turbolaser cannon and some modest shielding. These defenses however, often proved inadequate against attacks from pirates and other attackers, so most owners quickly upgraded them. The GX1 was easily converted from pleasure craft to cargo hauler, by removing most "pleasure" amenities. Its solid construction and reliability made it a good choice for cargo transport, and many smuggler captains retrofitted them to serve as smuggling vessels. One of its most infamous flaws was that its landing gear was extremely complex and maintenance-heavy. Obstructions such as dust and corrosion could easily jam its mechanisms and prevent it from retracting or deploying properly. [ Seats ten. ]
