Game Master Rules
-- Any and all questions should be forwarded to the nearest moderator. Thank you.
- The Game Master ( abbreviated as GM ) is the moderator who helps move the story a long. They are essentially the ones who overview what becomes of the battlefield, as those acting within it have acted out. Their wording is law, unless repealed by the Administrator himself.
- Any information you know as a player cannot be known by your character unless your character has specifically been informed or is witness to it. For example, if you as a player know that a squad of characters will be ambushed, you cannot have your character act on that information and warn the squad. Maintain separation between you and your character.
- There will be no public challenge or discussion of the GM's marks regarding an action. If you, as the player, feel an action has gone wrongly or with some bias, you may bring it up at a later date, and you may be compensated, but stopping the entirety of the roleplay to bicker is a poor choice.
- Auto-hitting is strictly prohibited. You fire the weapon, I'll tell you if you've been successful. Unless otherwise noted by myself or a moderator, you will not determine the result of your attacks. God-moding (refusal to take damage) is also prohibited. If in the course of events your character takes damage, you must represent that in your posts - for example, if your character is attacked and breaks his ankle, you can't have your character running around for the rest of the scene. Take the damage.
- After posting with your character, please wait until you've been responded to before posting again. If you fear you've left something vital out, edit before someone gets the chance to respond. This does not necessarily apply if you're taking part in a solo-RP scene.
- Since a real person can only be at one place at a time, your character may only be in one thread at a time. If you want your character to move from one thread to another, you have to post their leaving the first thread's location, then arriving at the other's.
- OOC within active, IC posts, are not allowed. Two lines of OOC will be tolerated either at the very bottom, or the very top of your post. After that, you will receive a warning, than the next incident will end in the subjected post being deleted.
