Role Playing Rules
-- Any and all questions should be forwarded to the nearest moderator. Thank you.
- This is, first and foremost, a RPG forum. We are here to have fun, and immerse ourselves into the world of Star Wars. Drama will be kept to a minimum, and any dispute should be taken to any of the presiding moderators immediately. There is no exception to this rule.
- Sarcasm and smart-aleck attitudes are best left at the door. Large amounts of sarcasm on your part will result in a warning.
- Advertising on the boards will result in an immediate ban. The boards are for roleplay and discussion, not waving your site around in the members' faces. If you want to advertise your site, use the website link box in your profile to provide a link. That's it.
- Finally, you must respect the Proboards Terms of Service (ToS). They are the site's host, and have expectations for those who use its services.
- Members may only have a maximum of two characters.
Role Playing Rules
- Controlling other roleplayers' characters without permission is not allowed. It is considered rude, since you cannot always know how a character will react - the character's creator does. The exception here is the game master's interpretation, which will be the primary, and hopefully unbiased guiding force in the RP sessions. This is undoubtedly the most important rule for role playing, and breaking it will end in severe consequences.
- We are a literate roleplaying group, meaning that one-liners, two-liners and semi-paragraphs are not encouraged. Here, we have a minimum of fifteen lines of full text for every post you make. We encourage detail, the more detailed you post, the less the GM has to interpret. Your play will determine how you are rewarded after the battle, or session has expired.
- No more then six lines of OOC text may be used in an RP post, either at the top or bottom of your post. Posts consisting entirely of OOC are also not permitted. All OOC arguments regarding a thread should be done over Private Messaging (PM), or, if you want, a thread in the Character Development area if it concerns a plot.
- The RPers of this board are to post in third person IC ONLY. The point of view can be easily misunderstood by some if you post in first or second person.
- Star Wars: A Galaxy will be a much more mature RPG. There will be foul language, as well as blood, gore, excessive violence, et cetera. If you do not think you can handle this, please, move on. This is your final warning.
