Currency System or Merit System?

I was thinking of a currency system, like doing jobs in RP, or doing your job rather gets X amount of credits, versus a merit system where RP'ing in X amount of story lines gets you item/equipment/weapon Y and so on, and so forth.

currency, someone who says hi every day could get more equipment than someone who's the best roleplayer in existence but only comes on once a week with the merit system.

Well hmm, they take the money from the dead guys they killl when they can, maybe sell their own bodies on the street for a little extra cash, with jedi you never know. joking lol.

Jedi get there cash from the order when they are sent on missions. Just so they can get the job done if it requires money.

Hmm... fair enough, I suppose! But in the case of this roleplay, would I get the credits for completing missions and perhaps confiscating it from people?

Well really, the money isn't tied to your character, its tied to you as a player.

You get an X ammount of cash for every rp you attend to, and depending how good the rp is overall you get that ammount the mod says so.

If theo is going off the avp rpg, pc rules, then i guess Nuetral threads maxium would be 20 pc, creds whatever, while a battle is 60.

When the shop is up, you'll see what i mean. That's of course if theo makes a shop.

Speaking of which, theo i have the shop codes if you need them incase you lost them.

Actually I'm interested to see if Theo will try something new. Though the the AvP system would definitely work.

There won't be a shop, as I've already got a pseudo-shop in the "Weapons & Equipment" section.

I'll leave the poll up for a few more days.

Well how about the weapons and equipment section is the basics, and then you can award us skill points, we can then spend the skill points on either skills, weapons, equipment, ships and such. I know how long it took to make the weapons and equipment section, so just name it, and we'll wookiepedia it, it will be awesome!

I think it would be a lot simpler if Theo just listed a price for each item. Sure, we could try to Wookiepedia stuff, but it does not specify a price for everything. It would be a good reference, though.
